“Women of Impact” Redefining Confidence, a Networking Event in honor of Women’s History Month

HORSHAM, Pa. – February 29, 2016 – March marks Women’s History Month, a time to recognize meaningful contributions and efforts made by women throughout history. This year in concurrence with the commemorative month, The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual), a Fortune 1,000 firm that’s been in business for 169 years, and the influential website, WomenWorking.com, have come together to launch an event for careerwomen: “Women of Impact” Redefining Confidence. The networking event is at Philadelphia’s local CBS station on March 29 at 6:30 p.m.

The evening will present a panel of savvy business leaders, among them Eileen McDonnell, the Chairman & CEO of Penn Mutual, as well as entrepreneur Lucinda Bromwyn Duncalfe, CEO of Real Food, Cheri Gregg, Community Affairs Reporter for KYW Newsradio 1060 and CBS-3 TV, and Helene Lerner, TV host and founder of WomenWorking.com, who will moderate the panel.  WomenWorking.com is a world-wide community of businesswomen and experts committed to supporting females who want to take their career and life to the next level.

“At Penn Mutual we are passionate about helping women succeed in the workplace. By sharing my personal journey I hope that I can inspire women to create their own destinies and take charge of their future,” says McDonnell.

“Today more than ever, it’s imperative that women take the opportunity to step up and make a difference,” asserts Lerner. “We don’t have to wait to have more skills or contacts in place before we make a move. We can move forward even with shaky knees.” More about that in Lerner’s new web series Women of Impact: Inspiring Action and Change coming March 1st.
