HORSHAM, Pa. – April 28, 2017 – The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual) is pleased to announce that Joseph Milano has joined Penn Mutual as managing partner of Charlotte Financial Group, Penn Mutual’s Charlotte, North Carolina agency.

Milano’s experience in the industry has cultivated the development of his new role as managing partner. With a long history in the financial services industry, he most recently held the role of managing director with AIG Financial Network. He is a five-time qualifier for the Million Dollar Round Table as well as a recipient of the NAIFA Quality Award. In addition, he authored the book “Finding Human Capital: How to Recruit the Right People for Your Organization,” which offers career expertise for partnering with young professionals.

“Joe’s talent in the financial industry is evident through his various awards and honors, paired with his determined work ethic and skillset,” says Bill Stevens, vice president, chief agency officer. “We’re excited to see what he will bring to his new role.”

A graduate of Villanova University, Milano has a B.A. in Political Science. He also attended the University of Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business where he received an Executive Certificate in Leadership. Milano earned a Chartered Life Underwriter designation and holds Series 6, 7, 9, 10, 24, 26, 63, and 66 licenses. He also has a certification in Long-Term Care.
